Derek Michael Massucco, age 27, of Nashua, formerly of Chelmsford and Billerica, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at home.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on November 10, 1991 and was a son of Shelley (Massucco) Bonaiuto and Aaron Ayotte.

Derek was raised in Chelmsford and was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School, Class of 2010. He was employed for various companies as a drain cleaner, most recently Wayne's Drains Plumbing. In his spare time, Derek enjoyed cookouts by the pool with his family and friends, riding his Harley Davidson, snowboarding and spending summers in Maine with his "lake families". He loved his dogs, Lili, Lola, and Ruthie. Most of all Derek cherished the time he spent with his family- he was a devoted fiance and wonderful big brother to his siblings.

In addition to his parents, Derek leaves his loving fiancee Janessa Luke of Nashua, his brother Nick Bonaiuto and sister Allie Bonaiuto both of Chelmsford, his step-father Paul Bonaiuto, his grandparents Ronna and Richard Massucco of Chelmsford, his uncle Gary Massucco and his wife Kim of Hudson, NH, his cousin, who was like a sister, Ashley Massucco of Sandown, NH, and Janessa's parents Lisa and Paul Luke of Hudson, NH. Derek also leaves and will be dearly missed by his many friends.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford.

His Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 o'clock.

Dear Shelley and family, please know of my thoughts and prayers. I was so sorry to hear the news of Derek’s passing. It so hard at these times to find the adequate words to share with the family at the passing of someone so young, gone too soon. Please know of my deepest sympathy and condolences. Please know I am thinking of you and that you are missed at dialysis.
