Anthony A. 'Tony' Stys, Jr. Obituary (1942 - 2018)

HUDSON, NH - Anthony A. "Tony" Stys, Jr. a resident of Hudson, NH and former longtime resident of Tewksbury, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol Eales Stys. Anthony was born in Fall River, on April 8, 1942, the son of the late Marie (Wysocki) and Anthony Stys Sr. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a teacher and coach for Burlington Public Schools for many years. Tony was an avid gardener who loved traveling and spending time in Maine with his family, friends and his dog, Oliver. He was a dedicated Dziadziu who made it a priority to attend all his grandchildrens events and was always there to offer advice or lend a hand. Tony is survived by his two children, Jennifer Stys McCrystal of Hudson, NH and Chris Stys and his wife Amy of Groveland; his five adoring grandchildren, Daniel, Carolyn, Emily, Sam, and Nate; his companion, Jo Leary. He is predeceased by his sister Natalie Teixeira. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Sunday from 3 to 6 pm. His Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 11 oclock at All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford, MA 01824. KINDLY MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be private.
