Constance E. 'Connie' Lord Obituary (1931

Constance E. (Cheevers) Lord, 84, recently of Chelmsford and former longtime resident of Arlington, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Willow Manor Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Lord, Jr. to whom she was married for 60 years until his death in 2010. Connie was born in Cambridge on February 2, 1931 and was a daughter of the late John and Constance (Bartashy) Cheevers. Prior to her retirement Connie was employed as a Buyers Assistant for the Harvard Coop. She enjoyed reading and playing cards with family and friends. Connie is survived by her son Robert A. Lord, III and his wife Caroline of Tyngsboro; two grandchildren Stephanie and Brian Lord of Tyngsboro; brother Walter Cheevers of Las Vegas, NV, sister-in-law Mary Cheevers of Arlington, dear cousin Carole Nason of Watertown, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Cheevers, Edward Cheevers, and Frederick Cheevers. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St. Chelmsford. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 oclock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
