Gertrude 'Trudy' Asquith Obituary (1920

HARWICHPORT-Gertrude "Trudy" Asquith, 89, a resident of Harwichport for the last 10 years, and formerly of Lowell, passed away Monday July 19, 2010 at the Cape Cod Hospital following a brief illness. Trudy was born in Lowell on November 22, 1920. She was a daughter of the late Sam and Ethel (Dean) Asquith. Prior to her retirement, Trudy worked for many years at the Central Savings Bank, where she served as the secretary to the President, assistant treasurer, bookkeeper, and was in charge of interviewing new employees. She loved animals, was an avid reader, and enjoyed movies. Trudy was a private person and cared greatly for all the members of her family. She is survived by her sister Marion Lynch of Harwich, and several nieces and nephews. It being her wishes, funeral services will be private. Interment in Edson Cemetery, Lowell.
