Harold P. 'Harry' Lemire Obituary (1944

WELLS, MAINE Harold Harry P. Lemire, 69, a resident of Moody Beach, ME, winter resident of North Hutchinson Island, FL, and former longtime resident of Westford, passed away unexpectedly at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on June 14, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Lospennato) Lemire with whom he would have celebrated 47 years of marriage on October 8th. He was born in Lowell on April 16, 1944, the youngest of 10 daughters and 3 sons, born of the late Leo and Irene (Sullivan) Lemire. Harry served in the Army National Guard. He retired in 2001 as a Store Manager from Sears in Burlington after a distinguished 40 year career with the company. Harry was a parishioner of Holy Spirit Parish in Wells, ME and Holy Cross Parish in Vero Beach, FL. He loved to golf at the Florida Club and was a member of the Links at Outlook in South Berwick, ME. Harry loved the ocean and had mastered the art of body surfing. He was also an avid gardener. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son Michael Lemire and his wife Kathleen of Chelmsford and 2 grandchildren; Evan Lemire of Chelmsford and Sarah Casello of Webster. He also leaves his sisters Joan Richardson of Haverhill and Carol Laurino of CT, his brothers and sisters-in-law, and many, many nieces and nephews. Harry was the father of the late David Lemire who died in 1980. He was predeceased by 11 siblings. Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 oclock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Interment in St. Catherine Cemetery, Westford.
