Helen L. Blazonis Obituary (1929 - 2015)

LOWELL Helen L. Blazonis, age 85, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home. She was born in Lowell on September 18, 1929, and was a daughter of the late Peter W. and Louise (Russas) Blazonis. She received her education in Lowell schools. Helen had been the owner and operator of Tina Louise Salon in Lowell for many years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a welder by C.R. Bard, Inc. in Billerica. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods. Helen is survived by many nieces and nephews including, William F. Wyman, III and his wife Christine, Brian J. Wyman and his wife Nancy, Wayne P. Wyman, Robert T. Wyman and his wife Effie, and Erin (OConnor) Wyman; many grandnieces and grandnephews, and many great grandnieces and grandnephews. She was also the sister of the late Peter Blazonis, Anthony Blazonis, Wallace Blazonis, Walter Blazonis, Stanley Blazonis, Albert Blazonis, Franny Blazonis, Monica Minnie Blazonis, Julie Wyman, and Jane McKeon. Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Wednesday from 10 am until 12 pm followed by her Funeral Service at 12 oclock at the funeral home. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Helens memory to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
