Jeannita M. Boucher Obituary (1939

Jeannita M. (Maillet) Boucher, 85, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Leo J. Boucher with whom she shared 63years of marriage. She was born in St. Nobert, New Brunswick, Canada on July 3, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Edouard and Elmina (Babineau) Maillet. Jeannita worked at Whistler Corporation in Westford, MA and retired in 2001. She often traveled to Canada to visit family. Jeannita loved spending time with her large family and grandchildren. She also loved playing bingo. In addition to her loving husband, Jeannita is survived by her two daughters, Stella Murphy and her husband Craig of Chelmsford, and Diane Martine and her husband Keith of Chelmsford; her four grandchildren, Tyler Murphy, Lindsey Cormier, Keith Martine, and Sarah Martine; and her great grandchild, Lyla Cormier. She is also survived by her six sisters, Loretta Allain, Rezda Maillet, Emilienne Bastarache, Florence LeBlanc, Stella Carlson, and Simone Maillet; and her brother Romeo Maillet. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three sisters, Louise Gautreau, Marguerite LeBlanc, and Yvette LeBlanc, and her four brothers, Leandre Maillet, Octave Maillet, Jean Maillet, and Alphee Maillet.
