Mary Blanche Steed Obituary (1937

CHELMSFORD Mary Blanche Steed, 76, a resident of Chelmsford and former resident of Malden died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at her home. She was born in Malden on May 1, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Martin John Steed, Sr. and the late Grace M. (Keefe) Steed. Prior to her retirement, Mary Blanche was a Licensed Practical Nurse and devoted many years of service to the elderly. She is survived by her sisters, Grace Ann Steed of Tyngsboro, Alberta Kathleen Steed of Groton; her brother and sister-in-law, Martin John Steed, Jr. and Deborah A. Hess of Vermont, and her faithful English Cocker Spaniel, Shamus. It being her wish, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 oclock at St. John the Evangelist Church, 115 Middlesex Road, N. Chelmsford. Interment in Fairview Cemetery in N. Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Blanches name to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854.
