Randall 'Randy' P. Pedersen Obituary (1961

CHELMSFORD Randall P. Randy Pedersen, 51, a lifelong resident of Chelmsford, died suddenly Saturday, May 19th following a courageous battle with Huntingtons Disease. He was the beloved husband of Nancy J. (Brown) Pedersen, with whom he would have celebrated his 27th wedding anniversary in June. He was born in Lowell on February 13, 1961, and was the son of Joan (Horton) Pedersen of North Chelmsford and the late Paul Pedersen. He received his early education in Chelmsford schools and was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School. Prior to his illness, Randy was employed for many years as a Technical Support Engineer by Solidworks in Concord, MA. Randy always lived life to the fullest and was always looking for his next adventure. He was an expert snow skier and scuba diver, he loved playing basketball, tennis and hockey. He enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and surf casting in Ocean Park Maine. His greatest joy came from watching his childrens sporting events and for their many travels over the past 7 years. In addition to his wife and mother, Randy was survived by his three loving children, Chris Pedersen, a sophomore at UMASS Lowell, Sarah Pedersen, a freshman at Chelmsford High School, and Rachel Pedersen, a fifth grader at McCarthy Middle School in Chelmsford; his sister, Linda Faulkner of North Chelmsford; his mother-in-law, Margaret Brown of Chelmsford; his three sisters-in-law, Jeannette Lynah and her husband Gary of Westford, Sandy Lawson and her husband Doug of Westford, and Joanne Hayes and her husband Patrick of Chelmsford; and six nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 oclock at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
