Van Sau Lee Obituary (1969

Van Sau Lee, 55, a resident of Andover, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27th, 2024, at Bostons Brigham and Womens Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Yang Sie with whom she shared 27 years of marriage. She was born in Hanoi, Vietnam on April 1, 1969, and was the daughter of Chan A Ta and Ly Moc-Tuyen. Van spent her early life in Lawrence, where she graduated from Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her career developed in accounting until she eagerly welcomed her transition into motherhood. Vans greatest love in life was her family; a loving wife to Yang, and the mother of two beautiful children, Kevin and Cathy. Van had a God-given gift of bringing a household together. She was the epitome of how a mother should be, creating warmth, providing nourishment, and being the heart of the home. At the same time, she indulged in every corner of life that brought her joy and found fulfillment in sharing those gifts with others. Van adorned her home with plants, paintings, and pets, and filled her calendar with social gatherings and sightseeing around the world. Her deeply rooted faith in Christ allowed her to cherish and live in every moment fearlessly. In addition to her loving husband and mother, Van leaves her children Kevin and Cathy Sie; her sisters Kim Ly and Hung Ly; her brother Roger Lee; her father-in-law and mother-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews and an extensive network of dear friends. Vans family would like to sincerely thank everyone for their loving support in this time of grief, and remembrance of her honor. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, viewing is from 9:30am to 10:00am and the memorial service will be held at 10:00am at the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell, 197 Littleton Road, CHELMSFORD.
