William Joseph LeCam Obituary (1927 - 2013)

NORTH CHELMSFORD William Joseph LeCam, 85, a resident of North Chelmsford for over 45 years, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Concord Healthcare Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Harriet Virginia (Lawrenson) LeCam. He was born on November 18, 1927 in Lowell, MA and was a son of the late Joseph and Lorretta (McKenna) LeCam. William grew up in Lowell and attended Lowell High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. William was employed by the Courier Citizen for 38 years, before retiring as plant manager. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Parish in North Chelmsford. Williams favorite pastime was spending time in the company of his loving family. William is survived by a son Thomas LeCam of Chelmsford, and two daughters; Christine Cournoyer and her husband James Bryant of Concord, and Nancy Smith and her husband Wayne of Nashua, NH, and four grandchildren; Katelyn Cournoyer, Sean Cournoyer, Lindsay King, and Daryl Smith. He is predeceased by his son, William LeCam. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 9 to 10 am at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 oclock at St. John the Evangelist, 115 Middlesex Street, N. Chelmsford, MA. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
